Ain't been looking too hard lately or had much luck .... Mostly that luck part! But I did find this the other day and I like it alot for some reason? Has a worked edge all the way around and found it in the same pile of dirt where I found my best point yet.... So I know it's something but im not exactly sure what

Interesting... I would say it could be a point if it was reworked until it was no longer usable, but I'm no expert.

Looks like a little scraper knife thing to me. I dig them also- probably had a ton of uses

HA I have some like that to. Mine are worked on both sides some even have a thinning flake near the base. But as far as to if its a point or scraper Im not sure. I think if they are real round it would be a scraper. They also could of been points at 1 time then worked to a scraper kind of like a oval point now some do have a tip and your tip might be broken off. Pretty sure its a Woodland thing.

Okay I actually found 1 like it this year I took some quick pics for you. Ive come to find out the best way to get a clear pic of a quartz piece is taking it in the daytime but in the shadows where the sun is blocked. Now if its flint direct sunlight is better. But here it is. Mine is a point. I think it would fall under the "Tear Drop" family for Woodland period.
