I went to an older blue collar home's garage sale. On its 1940's short, and most likely later poured concrete driveway there were folding tables filled with older tools. Laying under one of the tables were six or eight lunch boxes in the same shape as yours. My memories of that day are as clear today as back then! Standing open, each was filled with bolts, screws, steel wool, sandpaper and brass plumbing parts. Each has a $2 tag on it. As I closed the lids of the ones filled with the stuff I wanted, I just gave a big sigh!!!
The older guy had taken various bright primary colors of oil based enamel paints and PAINTED EVERY SIDE AND LID OF EVERY ONE OF THEM....
