Pops first Ring

Well Happy Soon to be New Year to everyone here at Treasurenet
It's the ending of another good year detecting down here in South Arkansas, Dad and I went to a couple of local parks this past week.
Didn't find much, mainly some clad, so yesterday we went over to the local sandbar on the river close by.
Lots and lots of trash we picked up...a few clad...and right before we were getting read to leave, dad hollars out "Hey Son, come check out this ring I found!"

Can't end out a year much better than that, I say..lol...

Pops was using my Ace 250 and said that it ID at between a dime and quarter...and it was only 1 or 2 inches in the sand.
Got to get my boat motor worked on so we can motor over to the other side of the river to the sandbar on that side, it used to be open if you had a four-wheel drive vehicle but I was told they put a gate up,
That was the side that lots of people hung out at, played volleyball, etc...and have never seen anyone with a md searching.
