Possible first silver

I went to the local beach this morning for a couple of hours and found a pendent. I haven't been detecting on the beach for about a month and a half, it's not beach season here in S. Florida, not until the snow birds get here in a month or so. But anyway I found a pendent with the initials XL and 12 of 13 stones they look like fake diamonds. But the marking on the backside is a little difficult to read, the last 2 digits look to be 25 with the first digit being possibly a 3 an 8 or a 9. I know that 9 is pretty popular but I have read that other numbers can indicate different grades of silver. Anyone know of 325 or 825 markings on silver?

Thanks for posting DP!

That's gonna send me back to the drawing board! ;D

At that percentage of silver content, a merchant would be foolish to claim something was 'silver', when it was only a third... that means it's mostly something else...

Should be interesting to find out more... Do you have any info or clues?

Nice find. It is sterling from Taxco Mexico, one of the top silver producing states in Mexico. Not sure why the 325 unless it is a manufacturer ID.
