Ok so on 1/1/2019 I went out on a hunt that ended out kinda too muddy for my liking so I ventured into the woods to maybe catch a good signal...this is why I uncovered barely beneath the surface.. E3EFD9A8-015B-4B5B-85FF-2EBF010FA72E.jpeg 9D2859D8-A1E2-4260-AACE-F59E89E99EE1.jpeg 633B7702-0C28-4096-9467-2C816BF52284.jpeg

*super dense/heavy for its size!
*rips Neodymium magnet from my hand
*super shiny where I shaved off an area
*has fusion crust
*has small indentations covering entire surface

NO DOUBTING THIS BEAUTIFUL THING I JUST NEED SOME IMPROSSIBLE TO OBTAIN NITRIC ACID TO REVEAL ITS WIDMANSTATTENPATTERN!!!!!
My first ever Meteorite find SINCE SEARCHING BEGAN IN 2011!!!!

When I started to research recent meteorite falls witnessed in the location I found this, (location in between the cities of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre, Pa I came across the posting about the 1000’s of people reporting the huge fireball in that vicinity so I did more digging and found the satellite images of that meteorite fall and it showed the HEAT SIGNATURES RIGHT OVER THE AREA I FOUND THIS THING!!! I am going back to recover anymore I can possibly find. I’m starting at the spot I found it and making a tight outward spiral to locate possibly more of this I can’t see it being a loner!

If anyone is interested in joining me on the hunt for more I’m not selfish and will reveal its location to serious people

Etch it to confirm and let’s get the banner votes going.
Starting with sightings, then trajectory, then digital research, to presumably hundreds of hours of fruitless searching..to recovery.

True treasure hunt for sure.

I’m working on getting the Nitric Acid to etch it. I may try to make “Poor mans aqua ragae” but would rather just get the real solution. I will etch ASAP. Thanks to all of you this is seriously a dream come true. I’ve been through literally hundreds of meteor-wrongs...the ups and downs but this one was instantly known when I picked it up and felt the real density and weight it’s prettycool!!!
