I found this at a semi local thrift store and I believe it is 14 karat but wanted your opinion. I am going to take it to be cleaned and looked at tomorrow. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1602193783.780301.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1602193793.309871.jpg

Is that a 14KP with a makers mark as well? If so, I agree, 14k. P stands for plumb.

24K is solid gold. 14K is 58.5% gold.

I’m pretty sure in the US anything over 10k can be called solid gold? Regardless randazzo is implying the piece is solid 14k. It’s definitely 14k plumb. Nice find. I’d throw it in the scrap pile without any further thought.

Put a strong magnet on it. That will usually rule out plate Most plate sticks right to the magnet. This looks good to me!
