It’s not a horse, but yes, it is a horse shoe. Couldn’t tell ya the age but looks like typical age of the 1800’s ones I pull.

IMHO: The horseshoe is from the 1800's. There has been a poster or two posted by I believe one of the Moderators (VPNavy) recently. :icon_thumleft:

It appears to be very large; possibly for a draft horse. Nice find!

Oxen have split hooves, the shoes are in two pieces. Horse shoe for sure.
