I wanted to share some pictures of a location I have been studying for almost 2 years now and I think it may be a treasure located under a large rock. I have videos I have taken the last few months between 11 and 2pm that reveals alot of different things. Example of a couple. President Lincoln at monument, JJ and 3 others highjacking a train and a black stage coach with horses, treasure room that shows JJ and a few others melting down gold and transporting it underground in treasure room. The tree that is directly behind the rock up on a steep slope has J, 7, a pot, and a few other symbols. The tree behind it is topped out with a horse and a knight carved in the top. There is also a tree that look like cowboy boots and it sets beside a tree that looks like JJ. There are images of JJ and 8on the trees. The trees are all bent in around this area and it looks like your in a dome or a castle. There is so much more. If anyone can give me there advice on some of the photos and the information, i would appreciate it so much. Thanks

My first impressions after looking at the photos are that the trees don't look like they are old enough to have anything to do with Jesse James. If they were planted the day he died they would be more than 140 years old now. So logically, they should most likely be even older since Jesse James would have hidden any loot in the vicinity of a tree that was already notable at the time. Given that his criminal career lasted less than 20 years, that means that the trees should be between 150 and 200 years old now. You don't say where you are located, but the movements of Jesse James are fairly well documented, so you should be able to trace his post-Civil War movements fairly accurately and compare them with your location. Lastly, if you can go to the county seat, library or historical society where you are located, you could probably find old aerial photographs that show the area over the last hundred years or so. Even if they only go back 50 years you are going to get a good view of what the area looked like, especially the trees. Good luck.

Thank you so much for the information. I will definitely look into what the area looked like then. But the trees are actually bigger than what the pictures show. They are 10-12 foot round. I have looked into his location at the time he stole the Confederate payroll and I had read that they headed toward Danville, Virginia . Which is actually Danville, WV. I am located about 30 minutes from there. I live in Charleston WV.

When you say "10-12 foot round", do you mean that the circumference of the trunk is that big, or the diameter of the trunk is that big? Note that if you are saying the diameter is 10 feet across, the circumference would be more than 30 feet around the tree. If you were standing in front of the biggest tree, at chest level what is the distance from the left edge to the right edge on the trunk? A tree from the Jesse James era should be about 3 feet across now, and would most likely be an oak, pecan or other tree that is long lived. Aerial photos over the years are going to be your best bet to get a clear view of what the area looked like, and I think most counties that have been around since the age of powered flight began are going to have them somewhere for historical reasons.

The trees are 3 and 4 feet wide. They are oak trees and there are also beach and red oak trees around this area also and some that are alot bigger. The 3 trees at the top of the slope connect like a triangle and has a large flat rock on the center that is the shape of a bell. The rock is about 4feet wide 6 feet in length. Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it and will definitely see what I can find

We had to make sure we could dig at this location and make sure we had a fee days free so we didn't leave it unattended. We are planning to start digging next week.

Have you tested the area with a detector yet? Just to see if it’s a heavy iron site, or if signals are rare?

Yes I have went over the area around the Rock. Its picking up real strong signals in several places for gold/silver and has pucked up some iron. I have done some digging around a red oak tree and have found a garden hoe, a chain, a pivot, 2 handles that look like they could have been off a chest maybe. broken glass, pottery, and a shirt that waa actually up inside of the trunk. I also done some digging under the rock and there is a rail road tie with some type of metal or spike nailed in it and a piece of flat iron or steel plate that measures about 13inchs long and 5 inches wide with a small hole drilled in the upper right corner. It looks like the Maltese Cross.

Sounds like a good area to search. 🍀
