possible meteorite??

Looks like a chunk of slag. I know those things look like what we think a meteorite should look like found one in my yard and was convinced it was a meteorite until I researched them. Meteorites have a rippling pattern on smoothly overall surface to them mostly from what I have read, from melting/cooling entering the atmosphere. Not an expert but looks like slag.

Not a meteorite. Looks like a metamorphic rx to me. A gneiss?

yeah. not a meteorite sadly. i've never heard/seen of anyone finding one with a detector yet. a meteorite is something you'll know when you see it
