2 milled flan silvers 1625 to 1632 when first dug i thought they were hammered but after some research i found they are milled flan , i hope i am right ? Jim

Hmmmm don't know the first British Milled coin was 1631-32 and they look Hammered to me...but very nice :o :icon_thumleft:

I will post them up later this week :icon_thumleft: I love that shilling... It's always nice when someone finds something I've found myself... It gets me fired up to see them in such great shape and with a rare mintmark too :o :o

Here is a 2 Reales that I found about 10 years ago. Not sure if this is milled or hammered?
The second one I dug a month ago. It was right up next to an old well.

Colin made it easy today ..... but I do not want to abuse my best showing silver and Gold coins. :laughing7:

This is a coin of the Greek city of "Emporion" in northern Spain and will always be my best coin, has a rarity No. 5 (very rare) that displayed the banner of the city .
The head of the front is the Greek goddess Athena ..... a goddess temple is the Parthenon in Athens.
simplicity, old and beautiful ..... and my best green patina of coin. 200 B.C :wink:
