This December heatwave melted enough snow so that I was able to get back out swinging today. I worked a section of a field where the grass had gotten really well packed down by the snow. I was ready to give up when I got a really faint signal. I dug my hole, and found this little beauty about 8 inches down.

It’s supposed to snow again tonight, but it sure was nice to get out in what I call the postseason!
