Pre 1800s nail/spike?

I found this nail in a park in oklahoma city. I never gave it much thought until recently. Can anyone offer up and dates this could have been used. The area was part of the oklahoma land run but i think it dates further. I cannot find good image online. Measures 8in in length, one end is flat the other high center knock down on corners.
