Nice! What is that?

Do you know what kind? Is it a wild flower?

I was told a few year back, but now it escapes me.
Hopefully someone will be able to help.
It comes back every year, has one blossom.
Though there are three stems after 8 years and each have a blossom.
Smaller than the first few years, stem is really thin for the size of the flower.

Very pretty. It looks to be “Chinese balloon-flower” (Platycodon grandiflorus), also known as “bellflower”. Not native to America, but introduced in modern times via garden centres. The flowers are usually blue, but there are white, pink and purple cultivars. Those where the five fused petals are “doubled” are a hybrid, generally sold as “Astra Double Blue”.

You're the best Red-Coat for digging up the ID information on so many different topics. Thanks for the help in ID of this flower.
It's in a rock garden that is not a focal point of the landscaping for the yard. (Still on the to-do list)

It certainly does not disappoint those that take the time to just have a little look.
Wheather it's in the backyard garden, or an Octopuses garden in the sea.

The chickens go through this flower bed twice a day, seems they did a little scratching along the fence.
I spotted this tag and sure enough.
