After driving past this abandoned home for a couple of years, I finally saw someone on the property. I stopped to secure permission and not only got it but also the home next door (he owned both). After asking the owner and doing research, the best I could determine was both places dated back to the 1920's.

It took me a week the grid both properties. I started directly around the first home and it didn't take long to realize both locations had been hunted before. The tale tail signs; lots of wheat pennies (at the end, about 20 total) around the homes without any other denominations and clear dig holes with trash signals. But I pressed on. And, I'm glad I did. Here is a map and items I found that others could not:

1) 1943 Washinton Quarter
2) 1943 Mercury Dime
3) (5) Roosevelt Dimes ('54, '55, '56, '57, '64)
4) silver spoon
5) 1921 Annual Cheese Convention token (note the location of the old cheese factory nearby in the map)
6) Boy Scout pin
7) charm
8) Avon broach/locket
9) dog pin
10) 1929 dog tag
11) military button
12) Swiss made musical instrument key (for which instrument, IDK)

If that property has been hunted before (and I have my doubts), they didn't do a very good job! :icon_thumleft:
