Have had my pro-pointer for about three months and love it. But I have lost the ability to turn it off. Any known fixes or is it time to exercise my warranty ?
Call Garret customer service, they will make it good. Quick too! Yes, you are out the $3.50 is costs to send it in. But in its place you have a new one. I had to send mine in after about 10 months. Got back a brand new one. Take the battery out before you send it.
Called up Garett and they were sweet as pie. Old unit shipped out yesterday with a new one hopefully on the way soon. Excellent warranty department experience thus far.
