I went to the base for about an hour last night, around the old theater that's being torn down. I found two mud encrusted silver dimes that I didn't clean until I got home. Today I went to the old hammered park and just found two wheat's from the 40's. I stopped off at a site that use to have an old store from 1890 , that was torn down about 10 years ago. This place has been worked a lot and has produced many old coins, but not today. I just found a harmonica reed and a 1977 mardi gras token. Thanks for looking! HH! P.S. I think the little silver thing is melted white gold. I can scratch it with my finger nail and leave a mark, it's heavy and shines up very good.
