Re: Probe Manufacturing's treasure probe V/BFO

Howdy
This brings back old memories. The treasure probe was sold around 1968 either in a do it youself kit that cost about $14.95 or was fully ready to go for about $19.95.. I was a young kid and had enough money for the kit and my grandpa said he would help me build it. When it finally came there was a COD charge and it was not the kit that I ordered. Fully assembled and my grandpa helped me on the difference.

It really sucked and had a little earbug for the ears. I can say that I only found a silver dime with it. It was a worthless with hard earned money spent. Saved from my paper route. Any how if I remember they were made or came out of New Jersey, but, I could be wrong. I did save my money and bought a White's GoldMaster and it was a good money finder for back in the day.
Hope this has helped
A.C.
