Those are cool GatorBoy! I think I would rather find a fossil any day over a gold ring,there is just something about them that piques my interest.

Thanks.. although finding modern gold with my coil is great.. its the old stuff..whether it be fossils or artifacts both historic and prehistoric that inspire me to hunt.

Those guys still swim the lagoons and estuaries here in Florida ..some large ones "Porcupine puffer"
Out on the reefs.
I've lost the back end of many soft plastic lures to them.
