abutawnee, that is very unique looking!
If'n I was one of those types, I'd swear it resembles an UFO! :o

Are the stones surrounded by silver, then set in it? Have you been back to that mountain and searched or found any other objects? What mountain were you on? Or does that particular mountain have any lore or folktales involved in it (I mean if it was found on Mt. Hermon or the 33rd line, well......:icon_scratch:)?
Tell us more, if you are able to.

thanks for ur comment
concerning ur questions, no, the stones are not surrounded nor coated with silver. i have no idea what the mountain is called and i tried to hunt for more but found nothing interesting there.
an indian friend of mine told me it's probably a "snake-stone gem" u may want to google that, which i don't really believe in. they have a myth in india regarding the snake gem. it produces colorful lights by itself but this one i have doesn't do that, it actually reflects light.

I would almost bet the ranch that the material the gems are set in is bone. As for the strange crystals or gems , I wouldn't venture a guess. It does appear that the gems are ringed in a silver metal.
