Purchased a Pyle PMD64 pinpointer. It was my first one and I realized it was entry level. While it seems well constructed, and comes with 8 pages of instruction ..... the vibration mode seems DOA. :-\ I suspect there is a "motor" inside that creates the vibration. Maybe it could be user repaired...??? Anyone have any experience with one of these...?

Thanks for any comments and ideas.

If it's like most electronic things these days, it's not going to be easily user-repairable. If you just got it, return/exchange it.

it came from China, and would cost more to return than it is worth, put it out with the trash

Does it still work without the vibration mode?

Must say 8 pages of instructions to operate is impressive to say the least.
(Or is it a case of one page per language type of thing)
