Hi all,
Its nice to hit it on a regular basis again.Me and knorrski got permission to hunt our local high school and even though we hunted it for less than 2 hours it looks promising with us finding 130 coins with alot being quarters.Later that day we went to a older school that we haven't had much success at but wanted to try the front area and knorrski skunked me good with a couple of wheats and a beautiful looking merc. She also dug up a old lighter as well and a Sunoco antique car token.Never seen one before and within the last month we have found 2.Will post again later tonite as we are hitting the schools sled hill.

Hope your keeping track...looks like a lot of loot! My motto is if you can't find old stuff then find quantity. Your getting both. It's fun when you hit a quarter mine. They give good signals and are easy to find. My son went down the street to the local elementary school when he first got his detector. He pulled over 25 Quarters from a small 7'x7' area in a couple weeks.

Nice finds BR and K! I now remember getting some of those old car tokens from Sunoco as a kid about 30 years ago, they were short lived and are probably a collectors item by now. HH and congrats on the silver, Mike

When I first started detecting I went to a local middle school that I figured had been detected dozens of times. Wrong! Right by the front door I found a coin every six inches! I made a post then, "Coin Carpet". I've pretty well cleaned it out now but by next spring it should be loaded again. JIM
