Question about a older find?

I am not sure what this is. a scraper or some kind of small knife form,but there is a vein in the quartz that runs up to a sharp tooth.Is this what they refer to as a tang?

Sometimes hard to tell from a picture with quartz. Might be a scraper or a broken point. Some of the base broke and the point broke off . The sharp tooth you refer to I believe is just a break at the vein that runs through.

Thanks SC!What threw me off is that edge is worked all the way around and then there's that tooth sticking out.It almost looks deliberate.
