I have a question about how to date keys.I am getting quite a collection of keys.I have done research on here but have not found any way to be able to date them.A few I was able to determine by if the key company went out of business. But for most of them I have found nothing.I have been detecting on an early 1900's house and hotel.A lot of the keys are brass. Some are tubular. If anyone knows of a link that would help I would appreciate it.Thank you in advance for any ideas you may have to offer. Can I suggest you look closely at the key or better still perhaps post a pic how are the keys constructed
