I walked a new creek today. I found one nice "nutting stone" about 6 inches in diameter with one hole in the center of one side, but nothing else (no flint or worked stones)in the 2 miles of creek. It is not a good time for my area for creek walking due to no rain and leaves falling :'(, Here's my question; ??? since I found the one nutting stone, should I continue to hunt this creek? ??? I am normally a field hunter :walk:, but I am trying to expand my hunting area.

Is this creek off your fields? If it is look for ditches coming in from the fields and try digging them out a little for flint. I have some creeks and it is hit or miss. Not like the Missouri hunts where they get stuck in your boots. A good flood always seems to help :icon_sunny:
