Question for the dime hunters

I think a lot of dime proof go undiscovered because a lot of people are looking for silver dimes edge searching. I know based on the number of half proofs I have found I should have found a dime proof but then I do not look at the face of the dimes so I would not notice if a dime is a proof or not.

People do find dime proof I have seen them posted here someone just found one this weekend I believe and posted.

I've never found a proof dime. I usually check any rims that seem thicker than others. I don't date check because it would take forever.

I've only found a few- the really obvious, thicker rims with a little coloration from age.

I've done 8 boxes, and only found 1 proof. I do search EVERY Large shiny rim :)

I haven't found a Dime Proof yet, but i've found two clad proof halves, and a proof nickel.

I haven't found many, though this year I have found two silver proofs. I also found a 67 clad... I don't consider them to be common...

In five years Ive found a couple clad S-proof dimes and one silver proof dime. That's over $100,000 in dimes searched.

I found a 2004 silver proof once, dime proofs are the hardest to come by, followed by pennies

I do a large volume of dimes, I've found almost 1,000 silver dimes, but only one clad proof. Hard to find for sure, I find so many proof halves I don't keep them all anymore. They go back unless in great shape....

found like 10 total in all the boxes i searched, 1 of them is a 1962 proof. :D
