I normally don't save IKEs, but grab them up when I do, maybe to find a silver clad. Have close to 75 coins, but before I get rid of them to the grand kids, tips at restaurants, etc., what are the specific oddities that I should watch for? Comments from the experts please.
There are varieties. There is an Ike site on line.

This. I've linked it in the past and have talked about varieties that are too many to list. The nice thing about an Ike is that it is a large hunk of metal and the varieties standout with having to have an elaborate setup to analyze them. Most can be seen with the naked eye, but at most a 10x loupe might be needed. There are numerous Peg Legs both silver and clad, Tiger Claw, Talon Head, Friendly Eagle, etc. Take some time to browse the site, and then dig into your heap of clad. I hope you find some goodies.
