Someone said on the talk about pennies that anything before 1981 has more copper then after . Which I can tell after i clean them in my tumbler. My question is I plan on taking in all my clad coins to the bank at the end of MD ing season. I have been MD ing for close to 25 years. And invest the money in silver coins. What about the pennies after they stopped the Wheat pennies. From the late 50's to late 70's Would they be worth keeping or just cash them in also.
Also any special silver coins I should be looking for to invest in. Your help would be appreciated . We have a bunch of coin dealers in the city so I am not going the E Bay way with shipping cost.. Good MD ing Shane

Right now a penny is worth more than 1 cent in copper value,(pre 82),but as long as melting them is against the law,

I'd turn them into real money.Do yourself a favor and do your homework BEFORE you 'invest'

in silver or gold. Good luck.
