How does everyone work around high grass and thick brush? I usually wait till fall for the grass and most places I go are not super thick but I know of an old foundation that I been wanting to check on all year now but it is thick and lots of high grass and I want to get to it while I have time. Any info would be great

take a machete lmao

A weed whacker would work. I've been known to take one some times.

Use a 2'x4' sheet of lexan to pat the grass down by stepping on it. You'll see through it to pin-point the place you will probe. I am assuming you have permission to "lay the grass flat". TTC

That's alot of extra weight I don't wanna carry. With lunch, detector, short and tall shovel, water (gallon jug) and plus this is about 50X75 yard (give or take a little) field beside foundation. Take me 2 days to weed it down
