Met Mike..tnet member, told him that got a beach that give up some goodies...met up around 10am...hit the beach and my first hit was a .925 silver ring with diamonds...woohoo...then the rest of the time there was clad, lead and pull tabs ....and a pipe. Not bad for a two hour hunt, it would have been better if the tide wasn't racing in and the wind pushing against it.

The ring..

Yeah, yeah, yeah nice ring(lol), but I really like the pipe. Nice to see you get out of the woods once in a while.

Very cool, diamonds are very cool. Ice! I'd love to find a pipe like that too!

Quick update on the ring. Inside the band it says "925 NDI 1/5 tw". From what I gather, NDI is a diamond importer, am I wrong? I know jack about jewelry other than its damn expensive. Also, I was always under the impression that precious stones are hardly ever set in silver. If anybody knows more about jewelry can help me decipher this, it would help a lot.

Super finds & great that the pipe is intact! :notworthy: Congrats! :notworthy: Diamonds are sometimes set in silver. If diamonds are tiny, their presence doesn't increase ring value much more than cubic zirconia does. But your center stone, if actually diamond, may add a lot to your ring. Most jewelers will test that diamond for you free. Have Fun! Andi
