Spring storms seem to be never ending but a little break and some sunshine equal a quick hunt . The grass was so high even the gopher mounds were hidden but the warm sun and slight breeze was so inviting a quick look was in order. To my surprise I found a small Delta Side Notched within minutes and another close by a short time later . Both points had a ear missing but the hunt was on then a Sierra Contracting Stem Cluster point made of slate . Then I spotted another Sierra Cluster point this one was basalt . On the way back to my truck I found two Cottonwood Triangular points one crystal . Not bad for a two hour hunt and I got my fix N California foothills private property .

Not bad at all. Seems like if you do not find a whole crystal point you at least find a part of one. Heck of a spot.
