Congrats! If you found 2 1800s early coins like that in less than an hour... If I were you I would be heading back there again and pounding that field to pieces. 2 old coins in that short of time...Seems to me the land has yet to be found goodies ! :icon_thumright: HH and Good luck!

Well this is the second time we have been there and for coins we have found one fantastic 1865 2 cent piece, 1797 LC,1812 LC, 1817 LC and a 1818 LC. And a 183? Canadian one cent token. So silver is soon to come.

WOW ! Care to share the location I am good at keeping secrets and wont sneak in lol. Are my fingers crossed? Maybe haha. But thats awesome! I wish you best of luck. Anytime you find a place producing 1700s and 1800s goodies...You got yourself one GREAT spot. Thank you for sharing and I hope to see future posts of your finds :)

That 2 cent peice is in amazing condition! Ok now I am jealous! I wish I lived closer to NY now haha. I used to when I was living in Williamsport, PA but now I am in Shippensburg about 30 mins from Gettysburg! Thanks for posting that! :) HH
