So, I was watching the Carolina - Detroit game ... and after the officiating got out of hand, I figured I'd take a break at the park.
Centennial Park is on the site of the old "Rose Inn" which burned down twice in the early 20th century. A pretty orange rose is near the entrance to the park.
I didn't realize I was getting so much in this pic ... notice the big orange spider!
A honeybee was enjoying them as well
Not sure what these were, but looked cool
... then there was this fly. I missed the best shot because of not having autofocus ... a small yellow spider quickly crawled between the lens and the fly and really scared the fly. By the time I got him back in focus, the spider was gone.
So glad I got this camera working!
