Took a day trip with my wife to a popular vacation spot & Had just enough time for 30 minutes or so of detecting, glad I did, 20 minutes in, I came across a 1945 Mercury dime at 5 inches where the water meets the sand. Also found some clad and pull tabs. For a quickie, 30 minute hunt I was thrilled, but my wife still had to ask:
"So finding a just a mercury dime isn't getting skunked?"
I emphatically informed her otherwise and mentioned that
She has gotten a bit spoiled with all my jewelry finds over the years, especially in the Caribbean.
