Hi All: I have been working with the ATP the last month on a 2 1/2 acre parking lot (winter use) I'm having a great time with over 200 coins and little junk. But my issue is that I'm getting a high tone beep at the end of stroke on many passes.( maybe 2 out of 5-6 swings/) Why ??? I often recheck the swing several times without any signal. any one have any thoughts ?? perry
almost all hits are at 2" to 6"- once found the signal is clean and constant

I've noticed the same thing, on occasion, just after I get a target hit; making it seem like there's two targets within a couple feet of each other. I chase the 2nd tone, only to find nothing, and return to dig the original. I don't know if it's a delayed reaction from the machine, or what.

Run your coil wire straight up the shaft for the first 12" then wrap it tightly around the shaft. Use ty-raps, tape, Velcro or what ever you prefer on the straight section. Let us know how it works out.
Also shallow targets can double up with sensitivity set too high.

I have checked my coil wire-tight and taped down, no coil cover, nothing seems loose or flapping-I have found that slowing down seems to reduce the problem -maybe 20-30%.-next I'll try lowering the sens. 2-3 notches ?? Perry
