Well I upped the discrimination and resisted digging what I know to be the iron tone. I only dug signals. 60’s = pulltabs, 70’s =beer caps and aluminum, when it bounces all over the place = penny or lead. That’s what I found today.

I really like the idea of repurposing those shipping containers into homes. You can buy them for scrap value and save lots of money putting up the skeleton of a house using that option.

i am always confused, Bill.

I haven’t quite figured this detector out. Too many bells and whistles for me I think. This particular spot is mostly gravel so I don’t/can’t dig very deep. And if my pinpointer doesn’t get a signal I don’t bother. I thought I notched out the iron, but it still gives the “donk “ sound and I just can’t resist.
