I apologize for my dropping off here... But the thread being threatened with closing over such a petty infraction of a couple of users has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Once again a successful endeavor designed to bring this site up is in obvious jeopardy... which is hard to even believe from even a website "business" standpoint... let alone a loyalty one.

IF this thread is "closed"... like the RPT...
it would be obvious that I am part of a site that does not have enough insight to see its own future of continued stagnation through these types of actions.
And can no longer be par of a website that takes one step forward and 2 steps backwards VIA "Cutting off the nose to spite the face".
(which for those unfamiliar with this expression is an expression to describe a needlessly self-destructive over-reaction to a problem).

With a heavy heart I would "chalk this up" as an experience and if this thread goes... I may also go... or at least "drop out" of participation. (like many other top users in the past)

I dedicated 5 years (as of this coming Sunday to exact day) of participation and work/help here and have enjoyed my time and users I have met and wouldn't change it for anything.

I really have enjoyed meeting many of you on this site.

Well, speaking for myself, I haven't been posting because of this mess, also. I am very bummed that RTR is banned. What it comes down to is: This is your thread and anyone who participates needs to respect that and post by the TNET rules. Several of us, myself included, tend to Take it to the limits (cue Bill)

I think the thread was temporarily closed so that the political posts could be removed in order to avoid permanent closure. IMO.

ARC, I am sorry. I did not post anything political, but I do post scripture at times. I will try harder to behave.

Ever since watching the show Drugs Inc., I've had a deathly fear of needles - which is ironic because I always hurt myself to the point that a needle is needed to numb me. When my mom asked me to hand her a needle for goat vaccinations, I couldn't pick it up because my hands wouldn't let me. One things for sure, I won't be a heroin addict.
