I tried to colorize some photos of the regiment that three of my uncles were in, with varying success.

Ok.........................you are far braver than I. :icon_thumright:

This would be my "Daily" wardrobe of choice if I was in your area of known poison snakes.

Lol! If the Lord means for me to be bit, I'll be bit. If the Lord doesn't, I'm fine, so I just tend not to worry about things too much.

The neighbors kill six foot long rattlesnakes constantly, every year. Copperheads are a dime a dozen too.

The farmer cut our hay fields yesterday. I plan on detecting the fields once he's done baling.

I hated baling hay. Besides my allergies as a youth, the amount of snakes that were in those bales was staggering. But RR, "IF" you could reduce the odds of being bitten, why wouldn't you ? I don't gamble, but it seems to me that what you are doing is a gamble. Oh well, like that Progressive Insurance commercial, I am NOT your dad. ( But still....I am just saying ).

I'm not afraid of snakes. I just watch where I'm going, and carry on with my business.

Makes one wonder, ( at least I do ), how many civil war deaths were attributed to snake bites ?
