Back then, they would sometimes reenact scenes for the camera. The scene would have been WAAAAAY more chaotic if it was actually happening.

I am sorry to say... what I have feared in theory... is in fact coming true.
I was hoping that I was wrong... but ... we have a serious monster that will now go in the books...
The Saffir Simpson will need to be revised in the future IMO.
In three hours this thing has blossomed into pure fury.
