Still awaiting game here in North Central Florida, but the barrier islands AND the beaches from Daytona to Jacksonville will be under a mandatory evacuation beginning 8:00AM Monday.
Also there are alerts concerning the St Johns River overflowing its banks due to anticipated Dorian rainfall.
https://www.florida-backroads-travel.com/astor-florida.html
Astor, Florida always gets flooded by the north flowing St Johns.
The covered bridge with attached bridge keepers house in the first photo, was on Hwy 40, and I have driven over that bridge many times on the way to Daytona.
The bridge and house are now at the Pioneer Village in Barberville, Florida.
The Blackwater Inn gets it every time the river rises.

*NOTE to Rusty* On the west bank of the river at Astor was the Confederate Fort Butler and opposite on the East bank, the Confederate Fort Volusia, which prevented the Union gunboats from going deeper into Florida.

Thanks for this infos Buddy! :icon_thumright:
