I notice I still have a whisp of hair on my head, so this picture dates back more than 25 - 30 years ago. Anyhow, a couple of us drew antelope tags that year, and we were in out in the eastern Oregon pucker brush, the week before season opened, scouting, figuring out a place we wanted to hunt. We had been on a road along a ridge, and we wanted to get down into the valley, so I followed a trace of a road down the hill. When making a sharp switch back I kind of cut the edge, and ran the frame of the truck up on that hidden rock. That's what handy man jacks are for, and I suggest never making a desert run without one.

BosnMate - those jacks, you gotta respect them, or they'll hurt you big time, right? I have one in my PU truck, also, AND a come-along as well - have used then both - I get off-roading too...! =]

You kinda get the idea they don't use that door very often.

Why use the door ?
Don't want to wear the door out...
and...
Now you don't need to install the "dead bolt lock" due to the high crime in neighborhood...
AND...
Got shade on the house...
AND...
Pet squirrels are closer to home...
AND...
Can have a rope tree branch swing IN the living room...
AND... it is a quick simple "install" ... only a cut hole in roof and some rope...

There is a perfectly good window to crawl through... that alone saves energy.

:P

Finished one of the most physically and mentally exhausting weeks of my life on Friday. Drove across town several times packing up and unloading tools and materials. Got to my shop and couldn't find my damn shop keys. Found them on top of my toolbox! How they stayed there on my trips across town I'll never know. I guess my week could have ended a lot worse than it did haha ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1468175351.903112.jpg
