Man......a nice driftwood frame wood be bad a$$ ! What are you thinking for a frame, thats a cool map !!

I like to inset the side of the frames so the the top/bottom overhand about 3" or so (so I only need to cut 90 degree angles). I will probably take a knife to whittle away the edges, then do some highlighting of the wood with my torch, and finish it off with 3 or 4 coats of lacquer.
I have some ponderosa pine left so that would be my first choice.
I am still moving a little slow with my injury so it may take a few weeks.:occasion14:

Never seen a compass-dial marked liked that. Not even Jack Sparrow's compass. Ooops!
