Folks,

House with a lakeside view....this one just went on the market and it's at the bottom of my street.

You can pick it up for a mere $1.8mm mind you that's Canadian dollars so it's a steal in U.S. dollars for $1.4/1.5mm range...lol.

To be fair the current owners are 2 sisters and one of them is an interior designer and she had the house completely renovated professionally. It also includes an inground saltwater pool(we actually do have summers where I live...lol).

By clicking on the link you can scroll through the pictures of the various rooms she did a bang up job on the design. I prefer something with a bit more warmth but odds are she's following the current trends in decoration.

I'm about 500 ft or so away from the water in the cheaper seats....lol.

Last year I got permission to detect this rural country church yard and while I was there a church member pulled up and started chatting with me. Told me to check out this particular headstone. It says this poor guy was killed by a car on May 24, 1902. Think about how very, very few cars a rural area had back than, terrible roads and cars only had a top speed of maybe 20 m.p.h. Enlarge to make out some details. 20180223_154937.jpg
