Really? A doorknob?

Ran down the street to the town's local park and detected for a couple hours. Deep signals but no coins later than 1977. Although I did find an old doorknob about six inches down which was quite surprising since I was detecting where there was once a baseball field and now holds our outdoor ice rink. I'll take it though. I was just glad to get out detecting instead of out shoveling snow.

I think that a lot of parks were at one time dumps. Actually, around here I know for a fact they were. SO much odd trash.

That's a nice knob you found though.

Yeah, I talked to my dad and he was saying that before a park it was just a field and probably was used as a dump.

Naw, I wouldn't make fun of anyone's accent + I'm from there [here] too.
