I took my buddy Steve hunting a couple days ago and we were digging a few odds and ends in a area that had gave up a few goodies recently. Steve dug a couple of toe plates and one still had the small nails or tacs still in it. I dug one that had the largest holes I had ever seen in a toe plate? Anyway a few minutes later Steve yells out I dug a Silver Dollar! That was a thrill just being there to see it happen, he was pretty geeked up over it and I cannot blame him, lol. I dug a wedding band that looks pretty old, I dug one just like it at another camp last year. I think the brass wedding bands were popular with the CW boy's back in the day. Hope everyone digs some good relics this week, Tim

Great finds. If I might ask a naive question: What is the ring-shaped (circular) relic in the first photo? I've found quite a few of them. Thanks,
Steve

Any chance there's a 'CC' mintmark on that Silver Dollar. If so, he'll really wet his pants....
