Here are a few of the recent finds from our 2 newer sites. Both sites co- existed for a period and are in the same set of farm fields. They are only seperated by a small chicken farm. Say 1000 ft or so?

There are a few crotal bells, one has a "1" on the bottom, it still rings. 2 colonial watch keys, a couple mouth harps. A shield with a hand made fluer de lis on it, a decorated clay pipe stem with heavy teeth marks, a nice buckle and some odds and ends I already posted.

I have some other close up pictures of this stuff and I could post but I dont want to wear you folks out. Let me know if you want me to post them.

Gary..Really nice finds. Your area goes back a little farther than what I have up here. Most our finds are from late 1700's to the 1800's. Cool stuff....Lance

Cool finds, I would have to say I am in the same boat that lance is only worse. We are looking at early to mid 1800's for the earlies finds here in Texas. You will just have to go detecting for me, wish I was there.
