They do look cool, but Iv always believed in "function before fashion" that being said to me the weight reduction isn't enough to justify the cost....just my thoughts...

A friend of mine has them both. His Nox is much lighter than mine with th new shafts installed. For me, the way they function is more important than the weight. The stock shaft is, in my opinion, sub par. I hate the hole and pin style lock setup. The carbon fiber shafts have cam locks, much like the E series and CTX. It's for that reason that I will be buying the upper and lower shafts this winter.

Do they compact more then the stock shafts?
