This rod is essentially brand new. I used it once for about two hours but I prefer St.Croix rods and I'm also not a big fan of a six-foot rod. I mainly use six and a half or seven footers. Regardless, it's a fantastic stick and very well made. Great for pitching or skipping a worm under overhanging branches and plenty of backbone for pulling up a "hawg".
