Hi all,Got up early, about 5am and its real cold and frosty outside.Still i went to the site of early hotel called the sydenham gardens hotel. The hotel was destroyed in the 1930,s and little remains. With resent heavy rains has washed out the creek behind the hotel.Been westest winter in many years.Gee relic digging doesn,t get much better than this ;D ;D ;D
there a heep of pics and one of the hotel [circa 1880's].

In the area of the gold rushes there were more than 280 hotels.that is a reasonable figure as some claim there were many more.

tinpan going back to site later this afternoon ;D ;D ;D
