BrettCo124: "Love reading this. It just further clarifies to me that I donā€™t need to move out of my safari (I never questioned it). The shop that sold me mine years ago told me it would be the last machine Iā€™ll ever need besides an underwater machine. I think he was right."

I've heard this more than I can count from former Etrac users.

Although I'm dying to upgrade, because I don't know any better, I will always own and love my Safari.

It is a coin/silver monster. So clear and concise on those signals. Only reason to upgrade to Etrac is its ability to identify junk targets so I can eliminate unnecessary digging. But I've got to tell you... the Safari is where I'm cutting my teeth in this hobby and I wouldn't trade the experience the Safari has given me for identifying tone signals.

My finds are only getting better with each hunt because I am getting so much in sync with my dearly beloved Safari.

Oh well... the jury still isn't out yet on this move.

Check this out... this weekend's finds. A key dated 1923 S Standing Liberty Quarter...'41 merc, '57 rosie and dozen wheats.

There's no complaining here!!
