Provident metals out of Houston Texas is who I would recommend.
I've sold and bought from them. Very reasonable prices

Know the weights and sizes of the coins you are buying. Measure and weigh each coin to be sure they are right. You can not fake size and weight. If the material is wrong one or the other must be wrong too.

I buy from a local coin dealer. You can look at the coins, handle them, talk with the coin dealer, etc. Otherwise use kitco, or the u.s. mint itself.

Would like to invest in some gold coins, but I'm leary of counterfeits and price gouging. Naturally, I want to avoid scam artists and phony sellers. Experienced 'buyers/investors' advice and/or recommendations for sound practices and best value are welcome.

Thanks in advance.
